5. I wonder if that was the one being promoted today on FB?
I didn’t even read it and did the “block all posts like this”. I don’t need to be frightened into voting, there is enough stress right now that I don’t appreciate using the fear factor to get out the vote. Yes, I know that the Biden campaign doesn’t want voters to get complacent but dear Lord, stop with the constant panicked messages! Cautious optimism doesn’t mean complacency. Lack of running around terrified does not mean over confidence.
Sorry for the rant, lol (not at you, at the “we’re behind!” fundraising efforts). That’s why I like watching Obama, he’s able to get out the importance of voting via a message of empowerment versus impending doom. |

6. I agree with you.
I wonder if part of the reason Trump's number didn't fall out is because we have so much PTSD from 2016. If the message in the last year is that Trump is so far behind and he has no way to win, I wonder if some of his supporters would desert him as people don't want to back a loser (especially for his supporters that likes the strongman image).
As far as Trumpers on FB, they always cling to the outlier poll showing Trump close or winning. That's why you have stupid polls that showed McSally up 4 in AZ when Kelly has been up almost double digit all year. They know they need these polls to keep their voters from deserting them. |

7. Someone on a podcast/broadcast talked about how all Dems he knows are screaming
I can’t remember what show it was, but yesterday I was listening to a pundit talking about how all the Democratic Party insiders are acting, and then he literally let out a scream that was like someone running around with their hair on fire. He said he’s never seen Dems so freaked out. He wasn’t saying it in a way that meant they had reason to be panicked. He said it more in a humorous way that was along the lines of “Uh, I really don’t think anyone needs to fear that Democrats are taking 2020 for granted.” For the life of me I can’t remember the show or who said that (Michael Steele?).
I definitely need a dose of No Drama Obama today. |
