The White House goes ballistic on Fauci. Accuses him of playing politics ”three days before an election,” making ”his political leanings known by praising the President’s opponent,” and representing ”The Swamp.”

1) Biden “is taking it seriously from a public health perspective.” (Fauci was probably asked to assess Biden.)

2) Trump focuses more on “the economy and reopening.”

3. Birx “almost never” sees Trump anymore, because the WH doesn’t want her approach.

As to the WH claim that Fauci failed "to express concerns or push for a change in strategy": Fauci says he and Birx "no longer have regular access to the president," and "the only medical person who sees the president on a regular basis is Scott Atlas," who pushes herd immunity.
