Beverly Hills boarding up, closing down

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Businesses along Rodeo Drive and the Business Triangle were seen boarding up their windows Friday morning in anticipation of possible election violence and unrest, and Beverly Hills police are on high alert.

The Beverly Hills Police Department announced earlier this week that they are closing down Rodeo Drive to cars and pedestrians, from South Santa Monica Boulevard to Wilshire Boulevard, from Monday at 11:59 p.m. to Wednesday at 11:59 p.m.

The city is contracting with Santa Paula Police Department, private security firms, hiring five more officers, and several other proactive security measures ahead of the election

12. Neither, they'll loot because there's stuff for the taking. Nice stuff, on Rodeo Dr.

If they can use a large demonstration as cover and diversion, looting becomes easier. And it's probably more profitable on Rodeo Dr than on some random street in Philadelphia.

13. This, the looting isn't political. Its opportunistic thieves using political unrest as cover

Someone posted a map a while ago about where mail sorting machine were being messed with....SF Bay Area and LA looked to be heavily targeted. With what we're seeing of the clogged mail sorting centers in FL, this is one of those things that make you go hmmmm....

If they go after District races, they're not going after Schiff or Pelosi. Both will win easily. Won't even be remotely close for either.

Shops in downtown San Francisco boarding up ahead of election

Downtown San Francisco storefronts are boarding up ahead of Election Day in anticipation of looting and rioting.

Buildings along Market Street, from the Salesforce Tower to San Francisco Centre, are covered in massive pieces of plywood.

On Friday afternoon, Macy's on Union Square was already fully covered and a crew was working on Neiman Marcus.
