Report on my last phone banking shift in ME CD-2.

I mostly had voicemail prompts, with hang ups in second place. I spoke for 12 minutes to one truly undecided voter, and I think I won her over. About 2/3s of the way through my shift, some canvassers came to the door to check in with us. One of them was in ElderGreenKid’s class.

Wish I’d had more results than a single possible vote, but it’s better than nothing.

I talked up the possibility of a Medicare buy-in and pointed out that in a hunting state like ours, democrats aren’t looking to take away guns. She’s open to voting for people who favor common sense gun laws.
