Nothing says you can't. Just stay whatever feet away from the polling.place entrance. Generally it's not helpful to campaign on election day, you're not trying to make the evening news, and your staff and attendees have things to do.

'While Mitt Romney is doing last-minute campaigning in Pennsylvania and Ohio, President Obama has opted to remain in Chicago, conducting several satellite interviews in battleground states.

Obama campaign senior adviser Robert Gibbs defended the move on Tuesday, despite the fact that Obama campaigned on Election Day in 2008. Gibbs said a last-minute visit by the president would be too much of a burden for people voting in those states, saying he'll “have a better reach” with satellite interviews.'

I remember Obama making a last-minute stop in Indiana on Election Day 2008. It paid off -- he became the first Democrat to win Indiana since LBJ.

But something's clearly wrong in Ohio.

It'll be weird when GA and TX go blue, and OH stays red.

do well in order to win. We are 50 50 and with early voting may very well be the state that puts Biden over the top.

Cuyahoga and Franklin have been working their behinds off as it is. Standing in lines to vote in person early in the only early voting place per county, and returning ballots to the only drop box per county.
