(15,325 posts)The Texas Supreme Court has turned down yet another request by Texas Republicans that it intervene of the option Harris County home to Houston has offered for drive-thru voting.
The latest petition that the court rejected a petition which sought to toss the ballots of more than some 117,000 Harris County voters came from the same group of Republicans who are also suing in federal court to block drive-thru votes from being counted.
The federal lawsuit remains one to watch.
But its notable that the extremely conservative Texas Supreme Court has now, when faced with three separate requests, consistently refused to go along with Republican bids to get in the way of drive-thru voting.
