I want to apologize for my last post

I I know it isn't my place to tell people to relax or feel different. I'm just very concerned people are making themselves feel worse in an already stressful time. Please know I'm just concerned for y'all and want y'all to be okay.

I know it's a scary time and week coming. But we are in this together. I'm not wanting to create division.

Keep telling your friends to vote, if they haven't yet. It's too important.

I think I was upsetting people unknowingly. It was just about not feeling gloom or doom. That it'll be okay. Some didn't like it

So many things in life to be thankful for and why should I let dump control my happiness.

Sure it pisses me off that he is pResident, but I know he is not my President. I didn't vote for him so none of his shit sticks to me at all.

We will survive and as long as we remain strong, we will win.

Much love!

I know that you meant well. I think that MineralMan and others meant well too. I'd wanted to make a post myself offering a pep talk and some encouragement but decided not to fearing a backlash. The last thing I want to do is cause more drama where none was intended. I care about the people here. As I said on that post, people are on edge. It's made me sad to see people sniping at each other over the last few days. I think people's anxiety over this election and the constant stress of the pandemic is making people lash out at each other when they otherwise wouldn't. Let's hang in there everyone.

You care about how others feel and you meant well. In these anxiety ridden times sometimes people forget to consider the intention before becoming angry.

People's anger should be directed at the one whose policies resulted in locking babies in cages, taking away healthcare and sending armed troops to tear gas and shoot rubber bullets at peaceful protesters, etc., etc., etc.

This is freedom hall...you can spit on the mat and call the cat a bastard.

If you don't ruffle some feathers and get hidden or feel compelled to self delete sometimes I would question your passion. Besides, you may be right. Four years ago I was very derogatory towards the Russians and suggested that American politicians in bed with them should get a sternly worded email. (Or be hung by the neck..Whatever.. Potato - potahto)

There was some backlash. History seems to have vindicated me to some degree. But keep on opining, have the humility to backtrack from your errors and keep on thinking, you beautiful meatsack.

I do not think you are divisive. Not in the least. The only person that needs to apologize for being divisive is 45. So y'all just sit tight and wait for this Tuesday when we can take back OUR White House.

These are trying times for all of us. Your op was not so bad.

We are going to take this one home to Joe & Kamala on Tuesday. No fucking doubt in my mind. We are working too dad gummit hard.

Then we get a few hours of celebration, and it's back to work to try and preserve as much of our Country, Our Traditions, and Our Constitution as we can until Jan 20 2021.

It will be different anxiety - but one that will have no doubt about the outcome - We The People are going to prevail in the end.

We are too fucking strong to Ignore - hear us ROAR!

Fear and panic are quite appropriate human reactions under the circumstances.

It's a biological call to action for self preservation, except there is little you can actively do under the circumstances.

Recognize those feelings as a natural response. And yes, that gnawing feeling in your guts isn't pleasant.
But it makes you more careful about things, unlike the mask deniers, the COVID deniers, the heavy-breathers-right-next-to-your-face Trump rally attenders.
(And I know who has the best chance of surviving both the biological and emotional threats in our environment.)

To fight those feelings, you can concentrate on your normal daily routine, seek out those activities that bring comfort, and focus on staying virus free - you know, masks on when you need to go out, hand washing, sanitizer use, alcohol wipes, alcohol sprays, etc.

In short, no need to apologize.
