NC pastor 'expressed grief and horror' after police said he peed on plane passenger

Confronted by the pastors of a Raleigh-Durham church where he worked, a man accused of peeing on a female plane passenger “expressed grief and horror” over the incident, the pastors told The Charlotte Observer Friday night. Daniel Chalmers then immediately resigned from his non-pastoral support role at Catch the Fire Raleigh-Durham church, lead pastors Murray and Ash Smith said in a statement.

Chalmers was responsible for communications projects and some teaching assignments in Catch the Fire’s School of Revival, the pastors said in Friday’s statement. “Catch the Fire Raleigh-Durham was shocked and saddened to learn on Tuesday” about Chalmers’ arrest in connection with the Oct. 12 incident aboard a late-night Delta flight from Las Vegas to Detroit, according to the Smiths’ statement.

Chalmers was not traveling on business related to Catch the Fire Raleigh-Durham at the time, according to the Smiths. Chalmers has not replied to a phone and email message from the Observer. Chalmers and his wife, Shara Lea Chalmers, also lead ‘Love Wins Ministries’ in Raleigh, which “has no official connection” to Catch the Fire Raleigh-Durham, the Smiths said.

Lead pastors Murray and Ash Smith said “... We believe that God has an amazing plan and purpose for each one of us.”

you drink way too much, you take sleeping meds, and you take the red eye, dream you gotta pee and make your way to the potty in the dream but actually use your seat mate next to you as the toilet. My guess that's what happened.

I've got an embarrassing Ambien story, too, and I wasn't even drinking at the time. When you put Ambien, alcohol, and a late-night flight together, anything can happen. There should be a show where they ply people with Ambien and booze and see what they do. It would be a lot more entertaining than a lot of other garbage they show. How long did Trump's show last?

Some things never change... they simply jump from B-sitcoms to real life.

In my family, we all had to go to bed with the lights off at 10:00 every night, and I was a 7 or 8 year old who loved to read. I got out of bed and snuck my Archie comic book into the bathroom. I was sitting on the toilet, happily reading, when in stumbled my brother and peed on me. I was so shocked I started screaming, and my mom ran in and spanked him.

I've always felt a little guilty about that spanking. I was the one breaking the rules, and I'm pretty sure he really was asleep. What a way to wake up, poor kid.

But, he's a Trumper and will probably vote for the monster again, so fuck him. He has always been my least favorite sibling, for lots of reasons. But I do think the peeing incident was unintentional.

When I read about the guy on the plane, I immediately flashed back to that night.

traveling or drink alcohol before or after I take it.

There should have been warnings on his pill bottle about alcohol consumption with the medication, some people just have to learn the hard way.
