Georgia rally moved to Zoom after pro-Trump 'militia' threatened Democratic event

https://www.rawstory.com/2020/11/georgia-rally-moved-to-zoom-after-pro-trump-militia-threatened-democratic-event/

Floyd County Democrats have shifted an in-person event Sunday to a virtual Zoom meeting following a threat by so-called “militia” in downtown Rome, GA.

Chairwoman Ruth Demeter said in a statement on its website that the event was canceled “out of an abundance of concern for the health and safety of our citizens."

“We have been informed that a large militia presence is expected in Rome today due to Trump’s visit,” Demeter said, hours before [President Donald] Trump’s arrival. “Additionally, we are not able to secure police presence for our event because of the airport rally.”

domestic terrorists after the election? My guess is that they've tasted small victories this week-end and won't recede into the background. They've learned intimidation and force are more expedient than democracy.

He was in Memphisa week or so ago & St. Louis the week before - that I know of. Seems only local media is covering his bs visits.

River front times hasa great write up on hisvisit to St. Louis:

My wife needed an ambulance one night (40 miles from hospital), and I called 911 and was told that both ambulances (volunteer service) were not available because they were at local political rallies. (I don't know which politicians), and that it would be faster for me to take her myself. She was in serious pain and was climbing everywhere in the car seats. I called 911 on the way, and they connected me with the next county ambulance, and they told me they would meet me at the county line. (15 miles away). They took her and I followed them to the hospital. They removed her gallbladder full of gallstones.
