Click the "Turnout as Percent of 2016 Total Turnout" tab and it will list each state's current percentage. I'm sure I will miss some, but some states that have already cast more votes than in all of 2016 include Hawaii and Texas.

Here's the direct link to turnout as percentage of 2016 turnout.

3. Population growth generally creates a record number of voters in every state.

Sure, some states are hitting 100% earlier than others, but even if this was not a high turnout election, most states would set a turnout record. How far above 2016 remains a question. If it is significantly higher, it is possible 2024 may break the usual trend of states setting turnout records in every presidential election.

But there's plenty of reason to believe overall turnout is going to be insane.

Lines would be incredibly long. This will relive pressure for those voting on election day in most places, except the most repressive, like Alabama and Mississippi.

but, here in Nevada in 2016 we saw a massive drop off in Dem voting after the early vote finished. Fortunately we had a 77k in the bank lead before election day and had more Dems went to the polls on election day,we would have blown the Rethugs completely out of the water.

Today's story about early vote numbers is fantastic, many of us knew this might be the case after looking at 2018 and how the Culinary Crew drove those numbers and with the recent threats by the Hospitality People saying they wanted to bust their Union, you are seeing the backlash which is super great.
