I detest being sold at. Rarely do I see anything advertised that I care to buy. I don't watch much TV, but I do watch YouTube videos and some TIkTok videos. Judging by the ads YouTube sends me, they think I am an elderly man. I'm not. TIkTok is a bit better, They send me an ad for men's ponchos. I like ponchos, and am actually slightly tempted by that one, but my rational brain overrules it because I have no need of a poncho. One slightly persuasive ad out of the acres that I am forced to watch.

So we will be weaned off of them. But my guess it will be credit repair and payday loans.

10. North central Texas has been blasted with political ads beyond anything I've ever seen here.

I s'pose that's a good thing as it illustrates just how competitive we've become.

That said, one morning last week I was pining for the consistent tedium of the "ask your doctor to prescribe you this expensive pill you don't really need!!!" ads I've learned to tune out as white noise.
