Report from Springfield, MO

My precinct is pink, less Republican leaning than most of the local precincts. I have not gone to vote yet, I will have to go later in the day due to my schedule. My partner went, however. He got to the poll about 6:20, was gone for less than an hour. Quite a crowd but the lines were moving quickly, poll workers are on the ball. He reports that the only conversation he had was with the guy behind him, who wanted to talk about coffee. No shenanigans. Arrived home with a combination stylus/ballpoint in a lovely green with the county name on it. Each person gets their own to keep. Wise COVID precaution if you ask me.
