It's the first week of November and Mid-Michigan will be in the 60's and low 70's, this week.

By mid-next week, we will be back in the 40's, so the weather respite will be brief but enjoyable.

I might actually give the lawn one more mow.

2. My mower is my method for picking up the leaves.

I almost mow year around because my maple tree is the last one to drop its leaves. (Alabama)

Some years, I couldn't get them up until spring, but in 2010 I was out in shorts and a tee shirt on Valentine's Day getting up the leftovers.

Let's enjoy this week's weather while we can. Sunday was a real shocker with the high winds and snow flurries and cold temps. I know I need to keep busy today so I don't get too anxious.
