The polling places in my red Michigan suburb are BUSY

Don't be complacent! Vote!! Get everyone you know to vote!

I remember going to see a family member four years ago on election day, out in the country, in a county where the Michigan Militia is big. Her poling place had people parked so far away they had to walk about a mile to get to the polls, and they were doing it. They were that motivated. That's when I thought Trump would win.

I just ran an errand and drove by three polling places. They are packed. Republicans are out voting in large numbers.

Last time, they were motivated and we weren't. This time they are still motivated. We have to be more motivated or we won't win.

Many older Pubs have flipped because Trump defunded Social Security and left them to die from COVID. lagomorph777 Nov 2020 #7

In my town, you can vote at any location in the county.

Some are 1 minute wait.
Some are 90 minutes.

Good thing -- in the center of town (very Democratic), there are several short-time polling stations. That's great because it's too easy for a nasty election board to make sure the central areas have long lines to discourage Black voters, while letting the outer polling areas be fully staffed.

Going well here, as long as the voter has a car and can go from a busy station to a less busy one.

The older people here are strongly Republican, but the kids ARE NOT. Hopefully a lot of the people at the polls were younger.
