Rep. Andy Levin, a Democrat from Michigan's 9th district, said that absentee numbers are high in Oakland and Macomb counties. According to Levin, there had been 231,669 ballots returned in the two counties, more than three times the number of absentee ballots in 2016.
Levin also said that of those ballots, more than 55,000 are from people who didn't vote in 2016.

If you do the math thats about a 30% increase over 2016. If you project that nationally (which admittedly has a large margin of error) the 120 million votes from 2016 increased to 156 million in 2020. A winning recipe for us, I hope!!!

(34,857 posts)Throughout the day, I remember reading tweets from people saying Clinton was not getting the numbers she needed around Detroit. It turned out to be true.
I hope this equally turns out to be true.
