Rumor has it the Trumplicans are not hitting their election day numbers in Pennsylvania, Florida, and Georgia.

(7,295 posts)I've heard that about PA. But if it's PA GA and FL, Cheeto Chump is toast, and I really want to believe that.

(7,947 posts)And he's been saying all day that the ED GOP vote totals aren't as high as the GOP wants.

That is not the number the gop was aiming for

I don't know what the calculation is, because the GOP totals seem higher than the DEM, but the "no party" is very large.

(22,112 posts)2-3 times more (or even more) than what I normally see. This is in STL City. I saw even police officers sitting down and voting too, a first for me (but of course they have to vote too).

(7,447 posts)it's pretty clear from the numbers so far that they aren't in PA and they aren't ahead by enough in FL.
But there's time left, I'm just playing video games and only checking in every 45 minutes or so until about 6pm central time.

(7,447 posts)They are ahead, but not by nearly enough to offset likely Dem gains in independents to this point.
They most assuredly need more than they have right now.
Can they get it? Sure. Could Independents be more pro Trump than the polling says? Also sure.
But as of this moment, they aren't where they'd like to be or even need to be.

Democratic -3,914,634 5220623 (NPA * .53)

(7,447 posts)you assume all Rs vote for Trump, they probably don't.
There's likely more crossover our way than theirs.
The reality is, the Republicans would like larger margins than they have right now, and our side just needs to keep it more or less where it is, maybe slightly closer.

(53,342 posts)Republican 4025650 5208433 2% crossover
Democratic 3976818 5258165 .5% crossover
NPA/Other 2464130
Gives a 50k vote margin for D (with a 52/48 split from NDA)
I'm just playing w/numbers at this point
dem4decades
(11,282 posts)and Republicans aren't being let in to the vote counting areas in Philly. No evidence, I'd guess they're reading shit on facebook.
It's a sports site but lots of Trumpers.

(11,605 posts)A family member said her polling place was lightly attended at 8 am and there were Trump signs, plus an "ominous grandma in Trump gear" asking people questions about voting. Waiting for clarification on where in Philly and what the grandma was asking.
