I have seen several people with similar issues get their old accounts back. contact in ATA or PM EarlG directly. (they might be a little busy today and this week but you should be able to get reinstated.

4. Yes - I sent two warning messages before the second browser got hit

Then I got EarlG's email after I lost the second one.

I figured they are fighting to stop any thing similar to 4 years ago.

9. I started getting the 403 error on Safari browser

so I quit logging out and also opened a session on Google Chrome that I also left logged in.
The Safari session got hit so I used Chrome for about 3 weeks before it got hit.

I thought about trying another browser to get in but decided to do a new ID. I am in no hurry. I will wait a week or so and then PM him.

IIRC election night (tonight) was the night we got hit in 2016.

12. Well I can't get by it.

for a while they would come and go. Then one day it came up and there was no way I could get around it any more. So maybe most of the time it is harmless.

And there is a work around which is to create a new screen name.
