I'm going to bed but very disappointed in NC

It looks like Trump and Tillis take it. At least our Governor wins by a larger margin than he did in 2016.

I am hopeful Biden will pull this out. But I don't see the Senate flipping which is very bad news for trying to correct a lot of damage done in the last few years.

I just don't understand how so many people in this country could vote for that con man again.

It is embarrassing, as well as depressing.

3. Lets be frank. That's the same question we had in 2016.

The media just blamed it all on Hillary. I am with you that I don't get those people. But I see them on twitter and they just live in another alternative world. I don't know how to bridge the gap.

I could in some way understand that they think less than 1% death is ok. But you can't possibly compare our COVID number to the rest of the world and say that's ok. It's not a "democrat hoax" because many European countries are having a second shutdown. They simply lost me at their resistance to masks. How would you oppose something that can save lives? I know it doesn't help 100% of the time, but if it lowers the spread, then it's worth it.

Tillis HAMMERED him over that -- husband of woman was wounded combat vet, etc.

Something bad wrong has happened with our votes. MY county went red. I live in a really red area, but the county itself is democratic majority. This county didn't go red, but the map shows it did.

A very common sentiment here tonight. I think many of us were hoping, maybe dreaming, for somewhat of an awakening - enough to be viewed as a repudiation of trump, and provide some hope to go on for the next four years.

12. NC votes can be counted seven days out. As long as they are postmarked on Election day.
