2. The red mirage we were warned about:

mail in ballots counted later are likely to shift several red-leaning states blue. We probably won’t have a final count before Friday.

The loss of Florida, followed quickly by apparent losses in Georgia and North Carolina (although one or both of the latter may still flip our direction), established an early narrative that "the polls were way off once again," meaning that Trump could be expected to win outright. In fact, since then, everything has proceeded just about along the lines people were expecting. Recall, as I posted here several days ago, that 538's analysis showed it was quite possible for Biden to eventually win Pennsylvania by 5% on Friday even if he was apparently losing by 16% at daybreak on Wednesday -- and similar scenarios were probable for Michigan and Wisconsin as well.

This exact scenario was always going to happen
because of the states which provided pandemic
leeway for absentee and mail in votes.

These votes lean strongly Dem. That’s why Trump
is melting down right now.

It's what they grew up learning, it's what they teach their kids. Propaganda and intolerance keeps them marching in lockstep.
