Two reassuring posts from Nate Cohn, NYT Reporter

Nate Cohn, in New York 7m ago

I don't think people have fully internalized how Democratic these mail and absentee ballots will be in MI/PA/WI. It's close, but these ballots will be overwhelmingly blue.

This is vaguely reminiscent of 11 p.m. in 2016 ... but in reverse (and in slow motion): Biden's the narrow favorite in PA, WI, MI, AZ, NV, GA, and it could take a while.

how he knows that?

Is it bc they're mail in ballots & trump kept telling his flock of idiots that they were illegal or some such shite?

TY!

5. I don't know for certain, but I did see a lot of statistical breakdowns released by different

states prior to Election Day where they would say X% Democrats have returned their ballots vs. X% of Republicans, and in almost every battleground state Dems were returning more mail in ballots, in some cases it was two to one or even three to one.

I think it was for returned ballots, but some figures could have been for early in-person voting.

I also remember all those warnings to Dems saying "Be patient because the heavily Democratic ballots are the mail-in and absentee ballots and they won't be counted for a few days" or "they will be among the last ballots to be counted."

Let's hope this pans out.

That's literally what it is feeling like.... including the slow-motion because by this time in 2016, a winner was pretty much declared, even with some states not done the counting.
