Biden leads on betting markets again

5:25 a.m. ET

It’s been about eight hours since we’ve been able to say this: Joe Biden is again the favorite to win the 2020 Presidential Election, according to the latest odds from Betfair in Europe:

Donald Trump: +132 (42.9% chance)
Joe Biden: -135 (57.1% chance)

This is a 27.9-point bump for Biden since 4:30 a.m. ET, when he bottomed out at a 29.2% chance to win.

Biden’s rise comes on the heels of more votes being tabulated in both Wisconsin and Michigan, though it’s important to note that recent data from Nevada indicates that race could be much tighter than expected for Biden.

They are a trailing indicator, which is the opposite of their supposed purpose.
