(40,208 posts)Maybe Trump voters were filling out their ballots with sharpies to be like Trump, to embrace Trump's love of sharpies. If that is what they choose to do and it caused some kind of issue, then I have this to say - Too Bad!

(8,052 posts)a ballot? Is that a particular voting characteristic of Repubs, that Dems don't do? Does it show thru the privacy sleeve/envelopes so that they know which ballots are "theirs"?

(1,166 posts)And at the polling place, the election workers handed everyone a black Sharpie to fill out their ballot.
To be fair, this was in Yavapai County, but the fact remains that Arizona has been using Sharpies for probably close to two decades. This is nothing new.
They're really reaching here.

(2,149 posts)It sounds like something a chaotic incompetent despot wannabe would try to sow confusion and provide an excuse to sully legitimate results, so it's sadly not implausible to frame the report - if borne out - as part of a planned scheme to commit election fraud
