Maybe Trump voters were filling out their ballots with sharpies to be like Trump, to embrace Trump's love of sharpies. If that is what they choose to do and it caused some kind of issue, then I have this to say - Too Bad!

I felt it in my bones--anything to buy time to make more votes appear magically.

a ballot? Is that a particular voting characteristic of Repubs, that Dems don't do? Does it show thru the privacy sleeve/envelopes so that they know which ballots are "theirs"?

I believe this is what they call satire, in reference to t-rumps use of a sharpie on that weather map

And at the polling place, the election workers handed everyone a black Sharpie to fill out their ballot.

To be fair, this was in Yavapai County, but the fact remains that Arizona has been using Sharpies for probably close to two decades. This is nothing new.

They're really reaching here.

It sounds like something a chaotic incompetent despot wannabe would try to sow confusion and provide an excuse to sully legitimate results, so it's sadly not implausible to frame the report - if borne out - as part of a planned scheme to commit election fraud
