Jacksonville (Duval County) went blue! First time since 1976!
That means all of Florida's major cities voted for Biden: Jacksonville, Tampa-St. Pete, Orlando, West Palm-Fort Lauderdale-Miami. Plus the two big university towns, Tallahassee and Gainesville.
Yes, Miami-Dade did notoriously underperform, but with word that 25% of mail in votes might not have been counted, even that might not be as devastating as we had thought.
Yes, I still believe in my Sunshine State.

The mail delivery was deliberately delayed in NC, PA, FL and lots of other locations.
How many votes did this affect?

(3,013 posts)...resonate more with FL voters? Seniors? Should see that Dems are trying to protect Social Security and Medicare. Latinos? I get the Cuban exile thing in Miami but that should be almost past. I also get religious conservatism but that vs. equal economic opportunity seems like folks would vote their pocket books and their kids long term best interests. FL baffles me.
