Whenever it comes to Democrats and Republicans and disputed elections, I can't help but think of...

...the biblical story of the Judgment of Solomon.

When King Solomon suggests the baby be split in two, one of the women seems fine with the solution, and the second woman would not want to see any harm come to the baby and would rather give it to the first. With this, Solomon realizes that the second woman shows the proper concern for the child and rules that she is the true mother of the child.

If there is a disputed elections, Republicans always seem to want to shut down the vote counting if they think it will help them. Democrats tend to want to see to it that all votes are counted, regardless of whether they are for or against their candidate.

I think you're right.

We Democrats want the truth.

The Republicans want to win.
