2016

Depressed for a month after results. Gained at least 20 lbs fairly quickly after. Today I awoke at 330 AM to check. I decided then and there I would be exercising all day and stay away from the news. Sure i checked in every few hours, but I was not going to hang my hopes and dreams on the outcome.
I'm relieved this evening, and very happy with my biking, walking, yard work. It works wonders for the mood! This nightmare can't end soon enough.

Plus, at that point, I was pretty much expecting Trump to win. Hate and racism is very powerful stuff

I thank my lucky stars my Mother was still living then, kids at home, 2 jobs. Lots of distractions!! Maybe it was coming down from the euphoria of 2012 that made it worse
