(9,998 posts)He, like many of us, thought it was going to be a big, bold indictment of the current administration.
He thought that Biden would be declared the winner before the polls closed on the West Coast.
He was on TV last night saying that we shouldn't worry, that Biden was going to win. Quit our whining. Well, he was right, but to make it sound like it was in the bag, and nothing to be concerned about, is completely whacked.
I really like him, and got caught up in his excitement, but I'm definitely putting him in the overstimulated cheerleader column going forward. Which I know many people here have done long ago.

(52,126 posts)We may yet get Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Georgia by the time this is all over which I think get us to 306 electoral votes. It may not end up being the squeaker it feels like at the moment.
Plus by the time we count all of California's votes the popular vote margin might be something like 9 million.
Plus, already more votes than any presidential candidate in history.
To me the real disappointment is the senate, but we have a good shot at the in two years.

(2,146 posts)Outside my budget but I do have something chilling in the fridge for when we have the results in and it's all over but the shouting, and whining, and rage tweeting, and doomed frivolous lawsuits
And January 20, the ex-PINO can sulk off to enjoy being hauled to court for the remainder of his natural life. And again I will have something chilling in the fridge to celebrate the occasion.
Then, we roll up our sleeves and start cleaning up the mess

Have we all forgotten that just yesterday morning he guaranteed a landslide of closing in on 400 EVs and that it would all be over at 10 PM EST or so? He claimed the same thing about Clinton in 2016.
A few months ago, he also repeated his failed 2016 prediction that Trump will drop out of race.
I could go on, but you get the point.
