Former GOP Chair: America Is Finally Freeing Itself Of The 'Sickness' Of Donald Trump

Former RNC chair Michael Steele said on Wednesday night that the time has finally come for the United States to move on from Donald Trump.

During an interview with MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace, Steele compared Trump to a “little brat standing in the middle of the mall and refusing to move.”

He said that Trump is free to throw a tantrum as his presidency heads for the ash heap of history, but the American people don’t need to acknowledge it.

The GOP needs to burn to the ground and the ashes scattered to the wind.

The party that you led backed him 100% Mikey. You don't get to disown him.

I wrote down what he said because it was great. I appreciate what the Lincoln Project did and that includes people like Steele and Rick Wilson who have pissed me off many times in the past. Rather than saying "screw you for what you did in the past", let's acknowledge their contributions.

I know that last night when things weren't looking good I tuned into their live stream and to listen to these veteran political pros to a person say 'calm down, Biden's going to win" was a much needed balm. Especially since some on this site had already given up. And if you listened to it, you knew that they hate drumpf just as much as anyone on here I guarantee you. Some like Schmidt have admitted their role in leading to drumpf but even if they haven't when you've got an enemy who is a threat to our democracy, you take allies anywhere you can get them.
