I have figured out what drives me batty about Steve Kornacki (sp?)

He over explains everything.. I feel like he is explaining to a third grade class what stats are in political polling.. Just give us the numbers Steve K. (thank you!!)

4. One of his talents is that he can fill the airtime.

To fill it, he goes into greater detail often to the point of being irrelevant.

Ever notice how Rachel Maddow sometimes awkwardly repeats herself over and over during the first (i.e., long) segment of her show?

That's what she does when there's too much airtime for the material.

6. I don't see that with Steve. But that is exactly how I feel about Rachel Maddow.

Ten minutes of analysis doesn’t make an hour or more of television without some serious padding and teasing.

OTOH Nicole Wallace is 2 hours and holds my interest about 95% of the time.

I admit I've not been able to get through a full hour of anything the last week or two.

Nerves.

and the meaning behind the raw data; a chunk of the audience is always going to b new or poorly-informed. DU is full of politically-minded folks who enjoy written communication and look at the number of ignorant and uneducated comments pop up here. Now add in a lack of interest and a lack of learning and you’ll see why he always comes back to core concepts.

They require that third grade level of explanation. They think Trump is a good President and socialism is bad.

It’s not Kornacki who drives me nuts. It is my fellow countrymen who get to me.
