On the extremely unlikely event that we pick up the needed seats to win the Senate

we should pass a one-time surtax to pay for the repair of the Post Office, the Education System, the Intelligence Agencies and every other institution that Trump and his enablers damaged. Call it the Trump Repair Tax so everybody knows exactly what what it cost THEM to clean up the Republican mess.

Instead it now begins like always, we Dems fix what the R's broke and absorb the cost so the R's can call us Tax n Spend liberals.

If by some miracle we do get the senate to 50/50 and Harris breaks the ties... there’s no way that will be enough to end the filibuster.

The new senate gets to set its own rules. By convention the rules have passed over from senate to senate with not much change.

Now in that event I don't know if Harris would be able to vote on the rule change.

You think Manchin would vote to end the filibuster? Feinstein already said that she opposed it. I doubt that Hickenlooper would support it in a 50/50 senate. There could be half a dozen others.

I'm also not sure that it really could be nuked the way the judicial filibuster was.

For chump & coconspirators to pay for what they stole, destroyed, & damaged.

Dejoy, for example can pay OUT-OF-POCKET for ALL the sorting machines he ordered destroyed.

I'm talking REAL justice here!

Idc if his family ends up penniless & homeless.

Just 1 example - there are many.

Mnuchin?

MM?

Rohrbach?

And no sheltering $ by giving away or shifting ownership.

Go STRAIGHT for their jugulars. Every. Single. One. Of. Them.

"Never extend your hand to a rabid dog unless you are prepared to CLUB IT into submission." (You can substitute "republikan" for "rabid dog" --they're the same--and it still applies.)
