If I may propose a simple explanation to resolve a few big dilemmas....

Let me preface my main remarks by saying, the fat lady ain't sung yet, and so in my personal life and online life, I have not cheered or gloated about Biden just yet. Trump is a bully and a narcissist that has gotten away pretty much everything, so who the hell knows what is coming down the pike.

That being said, a lot of people are (rightfully) pointing out that this election was WAY closer than it should have been. The results defied the polls leading up to it, and the exit polls. And a lot of other snarky conservatives are asking me, "What, Russia didn't hack and help Trump this time....why?????"

For those of you that have been active since Bush/Gore, many people are aware that one of the leading techniques for altering the results of an election is to preload a voting device with + and - votes. For examples, machines used during the 2000 election were shown to have negative votes for Gore. This alteration doesn't, apparently, show up during the test they used to do at that time because if a machine was preloaded with +250 votes for Bush and -250 votes for Gore, the initial vote number is still zero as it should be.

And so, ever since that hack was discovered back in 2000, the MAIN DEFENSE against attempts at stealing the election has ALWAYS been turnout. It's harder to steal an election if we turnout big time. We've heard this time and time again. And people turned out this time.

So maybe, the reason it is so close and the reason the polls got it so "wrong" is because........someone DID try to interfere and steal the election, but we simply turned out in larger numbers than they predicted they needed? That would explain all the specific variables in this scenario, wouldn't it?

Obviously, in addition to USPS hiding 300k ballots, something is going on with machines.

Although it is possible to hack the scanners that tabulate. Whatever happened here, I hope we see some hard-nosed journalism in the coming months to find out what the hell happened here

a full audit of the vote were done all across the country. I think it would be a hoot. Or even better, go back an audit a previous election. That would be hysterical.

Electronic voting machines are by definition not auditable, and easy to hack for those who have access. For every attempt to audit such a machine, there is a possible countermeasure for the audio. Want to run an audit on electronic software -- who controls the OS? the auditing softward running on the OS?

For a great read on this basic logic of countermeasures, see Godel, Escher, Bach by Douglas Hofstadter, and read the section on the record player that is destroyed by playing a record with a unique frequency pattern.
