Why didn't Rachel mention to Kornacki that Rep. Gallego...

of Maricopa county told her before Kornacki's latest "horserace" report, that his district and the neighboring district, both blue, have 30,000 votes still out (30k+30=60k). And being from a blue district, trump will not get the magical 59% of those votes that Kornacki keeps gushing that trump is so far meeting to catch Biden?

And there are also some 53k some votes from blue Pima and Coconino counties still to be tallied. Kornacki just concentrates on Maricopa county.

I hope Rachel isn't going along with the "horserace" narrative. It was just logical that she would've mentioned Rep. Gallego's report to Kornacki when he finished his report about how fast trump was catching up.

2. Actually, I think the first batch of votes from Maricopa did get 60% Trump yesterday.

I think it has come down a bit more but we don't know if they will be as blue as we want. Kornacki's explanation is that they were mail-in that was dropped off instead because Trump didn't want them to mail it.

He's been running about 60/40 on the last few. He's gained votes from the last several updates.

"trump will not get the magical 59% of those votes "

Trump is getting 60% average of *all* the ballots that have been updated since last night, including areas other than Maricopa.

7. We should be concerned about AZ, but it's not going to be needed.

At the current pace, it's going to be extremely close. Kornacki is spot-on.

Biden is going to win PA easily so it won't matter.

Trump is getting 60% average of *all* the ballots that have been updated since last night, including areas other than Maricopa. Not all of the votes counted since last night are from Maricopa.

That's been confirmed multiple times since they first showed the math last night. Rachel is correct.

I'm saying that there are thousands of votes from blue districts, some even in Maricopa county, that trump won't get close to that threshold.

She just had Rep. Gallego on from Maricopa county who told her his and the neighboring district, also blue, have a combined 60k votes still to be tallied, and the will favor Biden, not trump.

Democratic?

I just don't get it.

I hate Kornacki too. Expect him to confess, "I voted for Trump!" any minute. He takes such delight in making things sound terrible for Democrats such glee.

But why is this lead narrowing when remaining votes are supposed to be more from Democratic strongholds? Why oh why? Anybody know?
