Should Joe find a place in his administration for Cindy McCain?

She would probably pass but I think he should at least ask her.
If Joe does pull out Arizona, I think she gets some of the credit.
I think she is a Democrat but I could be wrong.

We ignore that chasm at our peril. At best it's an invitation for a corporate media shitshow when she fails to back him up in a high profile moment. At worst you're courting subversion. At either extreme or in between, no thanks.

I'm sure he'd love to know that she'd be in charge of his new digs. She can probably even do it from wherever she wants to, with all the work from home stuff now. Hell, they could give her some buttons to press that do little stupid things in and around his cell just to let him know that she's watching, or that the cat is walking on the keyboard (assuming she has a cat. I'm sure someone would lend her a cat, just so that it could press those buttons for her).

Simple including Cindy McCain as an olive branch is smart strategy, it's how we got Mark Kelly into the Senate. It will be accepted as Presidential, something this country desperately needs.

We've got a real problem coming as well with the Biden cabinet. Anyone who believes that Mitch is going to confirm Biden's preferred cabinet is foolish. This is going to be a fight and someone like Cindy McCain could sail through and probably help Biden get a few more liberal members through with her.

Coalition.

Ambassadorships (most of them) are usually distributed as thank-yous, so this wouldn’t be unusual, and she has a lot of in-the-room political experience anyway.
