(15,803 posts)Im a west coaster. Hes in a grad program in Pittsburgh. He volunteered to be a poll worker this year so he ordered an absentee ballot. When he got it, he noticed it was the wrong ballot - like the wrong district or something - just altogether the wrong local candidates on it. He reached out to a local pol and it became clear there were there were more people that were affected. They were all sent new ballots and their names were noted as having the wrong ballot (they were all notified).
His new ballot was a provisional one, so it got embargoed in the 29,000 ballot batch.
Since he was volunteering all day as a poll worker, he was kinda stuck with that ballot.
