They have no constitutional grounds to “STOP THE COUNT!!!”…and, even if they did, Trump would currently lose.

I can only assume that he would want the utterly transparent move of them ordering the count to stop in PA and GA but continue in AZ (which might not be enough even then). Or flat-out invalidating every mail-in ballot and rule that only in-person votes count – but I think such a move would be sure to trigger civil war/states breaking from the nation.

14. SCOTUS takes (or doesn't) take cases. They cannot just intervene without a case.

And normally, the case winds its way up through the Federal trial and appeals system first.

a court case needs to make its way up the food chain to SCOTUS.

His Lardship can't just sashay over to the Supreme Court and demand they fix the election for him. The court doesn't have original jurisdiction; it's an appellate court. And anyhow they've already made it pretty clear that they think the states should manage their own elections, like the Constitution says. Bush v. Gore was an oddball case involving a recount under really peculiar circumstances that aren't likely to occur again.
