but around the world.
I have "friends" from many nations, and the memes popping up are showing that they are glued to their tv's watching the results unfoldand rooting for our Joe and Kamala!
We all hate you Donald Trump,

Honestly, they are *glued? Buddy, I'm a close observer of US politics. I make sure my news sources are uninpeachable.

Outside of the foxnews-infected media mess here in the u.s., it's a whole lot easier to see Donnie for what he is.
Plus, he hates all foreigners, except certain very rich people, so it only makes sense for them to hate him back.

(12,188 posts)There was a website after Bush Jr. was re-elected where Americans held up signs saying "I didn't vote for him."
I joined in on that. Damn that was a frustrating result. I went to bed thinking we had a new president and woke to find Bush somehow won.

(21,786 posts)the USA has an outsize presence on the world stage; largest economy, strongest military, massive exporter of culture, the USA is the equivalent of the British Empire in the 19th century or Rome in the ancient world. Of course people in the rest of the world are going to form an opinion of the American president.
