(18,486 posts)With a Democrat in the White House, the DNC chair is a mere functionary. She would have little say and no control over the party.
DNC Chair would be a dead-end, thankless job for her she's too smart to take it.

(6,038 posts)We would be in a good position to take back senate majority and kick Mitch to the curb. This may be the only thing we have been lacking in the last four years.

(18,486 posts)I repeat. DNC chairs do not have any power when a Democrat is in the White House. The White House runs the party apparatus, not the DNC chair. She would just be taking orders and would have no real clout. It would be a waste of her talent, skill, and platform. She'd be crazy to relinquish her role as a major leader to be a powerless functionary.
She can be much more effective doing the things you mentioned from somewhere else. DNC chair would be a step down and a dead end for her.
