I applaud the media for taking away his platform when he tried to incite riots. That probably took the wind out of his sails.

Maybe Trump saw an ad in the newspaper for Biden that enraged him, the NJ staffer saw Trump trample it on the floor, and told the press he was sure Trump would trash the “ad wit’ de feet.” This is how these things get started sometimes.
