I'll bet we've all heard it by now...it's a nail biter, Biden should have had it wrapped up on election night, etc. Remember why we all said the Blue Tsunami was going to be necessary? It had to be big enough to overcome all the cheating we knew Trump was going to do.
Well, I'd say we did it. Joe got more votes than any candidate in our country's history. This election had a HUGE turnout, which I believe also had the largest percentage of qualified voters voting. I just think Vlad underestimated the true Americans and thought we'd continue to fight amongst ourselves, so he didn't put as much effort into this one, and what they did try was too little, too late. We understood about the troll farms, and knew what was going on.
With all that being said, I still think we need to push for straight up paper ballots from here on out. I'm finding it impossible to believe that Trump got 5 million MORE votes this time than last. The voting machines we use are manufactured by companies that are owned by Republicans, and obviously can not be trusted. If we've learned nothing else from this election, it's that we don't have to have the results 2 minutes after polls close.

I feel good about the upcoming generations. They are more progressive and less apathetic about the consequences of politics. As a Gen-Xer myself, our generation is less conservative than the one before it, but still leans to the conservative side. The trend seems to be heading in a better direction though.
Progress has never been easy or linear. But this election is progress nonetheless.
