we need a new standard for recounts- the polls.

when the polls and the vote totals are off by more than 5%, there needs to be a recount.
if there vapor votes involved, the fbi should examine the machines.

robust discussion here-

now the question is what to do about it.

For the record, I agree with your analysis. I don’t buy the Miami-Dade count for a second, and the count in the Rio Grand valley of Texas looks suspicious. I don’t trust vapor-votes as far as I can throw them, nor do I trust paper-vote tabulators. I would prefer to see hand-counting of paper ballots.

I have worked on counting ballots and we do NOT tally who is getting what vote. We count the ballots and envelopes to make sure they match up to what is in the usps box. The counting goes into the machines which are NOT online. When the counting is done on the machines they best come out to the same number of ballots that the ballot counters came up with.

If we hand counted all the votes we would not get a count for months and months and need millions of people to do the counting.

Edit: The polls have zero to do with the counting.

I still don’t trust the tabulators. Evidently, the Russians were able to hack them in Florida in 2018.

at ease.

Edit: Canada only has 39 million people compared to 310 million + of the US.

Would help enormously to eliminate tabulator cheating, and could be a small subset of the entire vote. We don’t need to hand count everything to keep them honest.

i watched an audit in a red county near me in '06.
every precinct had small anomalies. 'not enough to change the results'
yeah, cuz they knew damn well which precincts WOULD.
