Right on cue, Lindsey Graham wants to talk about the deficit.

Chris Cioffi @ReporterCioffi

Senate committee talk from Graham: "If we keep the Senate which I think we will and I become Budget chairman. I'd like to create a dialogue about how can we finally begin to address the debt. You'll see from me a reliable conservative, vote. You'll see from me, stopping an agenda I think is bad for the country but you'll also see me trying to find common ground that would benefit all of us and a good place to start, I think, would be the debt and infrastructure and immigration."

Deficits only matter when a Democrat is President.

I am sick and tired of these transparent hypocrites.

This is *your* goddamn party's deficit, Lindsay, you little prick. Sit down and sit your fucking mouth. After the January runoff elections, when Demorats take control of the Senate, you and Mitch and your little buddies can eat shit and die.

Me.

an election in Georgia? People in Kentucky and South Carolina re-elect them over and over. Why would that affect how Georgia votes?

makes no sense to me, well Mitch does, but only in the context of control of the Senate. I guess that's why I'm not running for anything.

spend money like drunken sailors, giving relief to the wealthy. Just like the libertine who goes on a diet after the orgy. The thing I am most in awe of regarding Republicans is their gall. Democrats are generally too self-conscious to be so hypocritical, but I think maybe the Democrats should take a lesson, or at least they could call out Republicans when they do what Lindsey is doing now.

How about we raise taxes on the wealthy, and get them paying their fair share to support this society that has been so good to them? We've gone so heavily into debt because we've funneled so much of the Treasury into the overstuffed pockets of the wealthy. Let's reverse that money flow and invest in the country instead of greedy motherfuckers who will never get enough.
