I mean some, probably many, of the 400 + bills Mitch has sitting on his desk have bipartisan support. Aren't there some Republicans that aren't total obstructionist assholes? If Chuck Schumer had refused to bring House bills to a vote, I think some, if not most, Democrats would have objected. That's just not how you do things.

(12,344 posts)The best we can get is a few who demand he be less obstructionist. A small group willing to work with Democrats can overrude McConnell whenever they want.

(2,328 posts)Why would any of them challenge him? He is incredibly effective at pushing their agenda or stonewalling any agenda the Democratic Party are working toward.
