(9,874 posts)There would have to be a special election to fill the seat and with losses already in the House I would think they would rather not risk a return to norm for her district. Otherwise I think she would be terrific.

(4,238 posts)Our current AG. He has filed about 100 lawsuits against the trump administration, and won most of them. His appointment would not necessitate any special election, and as a Latino in a state with a majority population, he would be a good fit. Definitely my first choice.
