Pundits getting it wrong again: Trump is working the next step

The pundits are saying trumps delay in conceding and his bs about fraud is because he’s having a hard time accepting reality, that he’s never lost before and doesn’t know how to handle it etc. That’s flat out wrong. It doesn’t give him credit for his mendacity, his lust for power, his evil.

Trump is setting the stage for continuing bad action down the line. He’s keeping his base fired up with the notion that Biden is illegitimate, that trump has been wronged, that they, personally have been screwed by the Dems, the deep state, the system, brown people, black people, feminazis. He’s signaling to the militias and the types that are fascinated by them that their time will come because all of this imagined wrong doing has to be avenged, will be avenged, and then everything will finally be great again.

Trumps current behavior is really, really dangerous.

There seems to be almost no way to deal with this shit. I try to think of what the average German could have done to forestall Naziism. I’ve read a little on the topic. Many Germans said they did everything they could, but it didn’t matter. And at one point, they just had to shut up and lay low.

There must be something. Talk me down, please.

1. Trump is more cunning when appearing defeated than given credit for. His life is a theoretical

4. You are correct, but I don't think it will work at the moment.

He's not getting support where he needs it from Republican leaders. They want him out. And truth is, he will go in the end when all his options are exhausted. That won't be the end of him though. He will continue his agitation forever. He or one of his kids could win a future election.

You solve this by political reform. Biden's job. He is goingnto have a build a new coalition big enough to marginalize or coopt the crazies. Not easy, but he is the best lerson to do it.

5. You are correct. Defeating dump, does not defeat the ideology.

It actually helps fuel it. Anger/despair is like gasoline and dump is a match.

We have to figure out a way to put water on the match before the fire blows up and that is easier said then done. The saddest part about all that dumpism has exposed is that nearly half the voting population is ready to march lockstep down the road to fascism.

It is scary and real and nothing to ignore. If we ignore it, America will surely fall, it is only a matter of time.

Somehow we need to energize and activate the non-voting progressives and liberal democrats in order to make sure that the republican monster is never brought to power again.

He's creating video footage to be used in the future to create a new disinformation and propaganda global network made up of RT, OAN, Epoch Times, Limbaugh, Hannity, etc. The new Right Wing Nut Sludge Report!

That was his play in 2016 but the hackers were a little too good in persuasion. And, he's gonna need legal revenue for the legal shit wall that will befall him!

That was proven in portland. The arresting of protestors didn't fly. Also, now we all have mobile phones and instant broadcasting.

The fool is delusional and just putting off the inevitable. He really thinks his money ( if there really is any) will buy him a rescue.

Not this time. There are 74mill people who just told him, "You're fired."

his idiocy has resulted in where he is right now. With coronavirus response, with dissuading his supporters from using mail in ballots.

He's not an evil genius, so yeah, he certainly knows he needs his peeps and he is riling them up, but he also lives in a world of his own design, and the idea of losing is something he cannot admit, especially when it's so fucking public.

He's not Hitler, he's Mussolini, only Mussolini was better than him too.

Look back to the election and presidency of Warren G. Harding. He stoked populist sentiment within the American electorate and ran on a promise of a "return to normalcy". Sound familiar? Like our current resident in chief, his time in the White House was wrought with scandal. We came back from it, though.

I'm concerned as well, but all we can do is improve our ground game because it sucks right now. There are way more of us than there are of them. With that said, we need to mobilize the Democratic vote much better than we've been doing. We're often a bit too content to sit on our laurels after a long, hard-fought election. We let state legislatures go blood red because we can't be bothered to participate in anything beyond the federal elections. What do we get? Voting restrictions aimed specifically at the Democratic voting demographic and state governments that serve as echo chambers for whatever insanity comes out of Washington at times.

We can stop it, we just have to keep fighting long after the Presidential election cycle has ended.
