I thought it was funny this afternoon that MSNBC changed its banner from Biden nears nomination (or some such) to Biden needs 17 votes away. As if that made a difference.

They cant extrapolate the outcome from what they know? PA is the only state that matters. Surely with 90%+ of votes counted they could safely make a prediction.
Fear of the Wrath of Trump is behind this, and its becoming more transparent and ridiculous. I understand wanting to be cautious. But there is a limit.

Declaring Biden the winner is losing their narrative thus rendering them irrelevant.
