Retribution: tRump quietly demotes his top energy regulator as election count drags on

In the aftermath of the election, President Donald Trump quietly demoted the nation's top federal energy regulator — a move that the regulator says may be retribution for his support of clean energy.

As most Americans were focused on the election cliffhanger, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission announced Thursday evening that Trump had replaced Neil Chatterjee, the agency's chairman.

Chatterjee has recently backed policies that support electric vehicles, rooftop solar and other clean energy solutions. Trump, by contrast, has fiercely backed coal -- a fuel source that is rapidly losing ground to solar and wind. - CNN

So for the next 90 days we'll be rudderless in yet another federal agency.

the cable news stations still going 24/7 on the election. They could at least split time with the rest of the news. I don't need somebody to explain voting patterns in Allegheny County to me one more time. They've milked this election cash cow longer than necessary. Put up the numbers every half hour and start finding time for making people aware of all the other things going on.
