Not a terrific election for predictions of an imminent "blue Texas," but Biden has pulled ahead in Tarrant Co. (Ft. Worth) by 0.2% in the latest count. Trump won it by 8.6% in 2016.

I know, it takes time.

Well, I'm 54, and I won't hold my breath for a Democratic candidate to win Texas during my lifetime.

That's what helps to make the necessary changes we need. I'm a wee bit older than you and I don't hold those thoughts. I think Beto has lit a fire in the bellies of the next generation of Texas Democrats.

I had planned to post about this since it's my hometown but was waiting for more ballots to be processed. I talked to the Elections Admin today. They were finishing replicating the ballots that were problematic. She said they would be processed that afternoon.

Then they have the provisionals and military ballots which she said would be processed early next week.

Tarrant County hasn't been BLUE in a very long long time.
