Joe Biden was the man for this moment...

...I always respected him, but my first choice was Elizabeth Warren. It's now clear to me, seeing how strong Trump actually performed, that she--and Sanders--and probably anyone else--likely would have lost. Biden, with his cool head, empathy, common sense, and appeal to the better angels of our nature, sealed the deal. It helped that his obvious health and endurance put the lie to all the smears. Thank God for this day...

But I admit he was not my first choice, I wanted Kamala..or Pete..or Amy..but my heart always belonged to Joe, and I’m so happy for him and for our country.
