One of my grands voted for the first time this year and she was so excited. These young people are the ones who only knew Obama as President until trump and I think he (Obama) greatly influenced their viewpoint and expectations.

Our kids (except for one, who I hope will change) are all pretty politically aware and motivated.
Their dad and I have always had political/current events discussions that they listened to, and they eventually participated in them. We had some really good conversations.

When she told the poll workers it was her first time, they all applauded.
