On edit: Upon reflection, asking who's old enough to remember this song was the wrong headline for this post; because no one is . . . forgive me, y'all . . . second edit to fix a typo . . .probably some of those "senior moments" people talk about . . .

walking down the street in Mpls. in 48. Actually got to shake his hand. Of course I was only in 3rd grade and had no idea at the time what it was all about..
In those days they actually got out and walked in their campaign parades..
