Joe Biden will try to keep Trump and his children from going to prison out of sympathy for Trump and

to heal the wounds of his supporters, but the American public will not allow it.

The Trumps need to be fully investigated and if they are indicted by a grand jury they need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Eric Swalwell should head the Presidential Crimes Commission he proposed.
When the extent of his crimes are exposed to the public, many of his cult followers
may see the light. It is necessary.

Biden won't be involved one way or the other.

We don't have a king. The DOJ will work independently and based on the rule of law.

And state charges are completely separate from the federal government.

Sympathy or forgiveness for these evil destructive people will do nothing to unite this country. We are United in showing the world that the trump administration is not who we are and that there are consequences for such behavior. They have broken every legal and moral stance this country stands for and it must not be ignored. Maybe if we had held Bush accountable it would not have been so easy. If that’s so then what would letting this slide possibly result in.

With just consequences , or the American people , and OUR country will fall into the hands of criminals , and Democracy will be lost. By not holding all accountable , or letting them go unpunished will just make it worse and more costly next time. Politicians should be held to a higher standard, not a lower one or justice means nothing in this country, and it'll promote more criminals to run for office, knowing they can escape justice. The use of "for the good of the country "is a lie, and we'll no longer need a Congress if everyone except them have consequences. That's why it's gotten to the point it has now. No consequences breeds more criminals will be in our government. Justice needs to be equal, swift, and fair , not undermined if you have money and/or power.

It is that simple. The tRumps need to face the justice that you or I would face in the same circumstances. Sympathy has nothing to do with it.

As quickly as possible after Biden is inaugurated, the tRumps should be arrested for their crimes and be processed through our justice system. Televise the trials so we can all see for ourselves the evidence (or lack of it). If they are convicted, let the punishment phase proceed.

The American people deserve to know the truth. And even tRump deserves a fair trial. It is the American way.

for a deranged dog that has to be put down, probably less. He couldn't be a nice man if he excused Trump's exercise of vicious cruelty toward millions for personal enjoyment. His famous empathy, like mine, allows some ability to comprehend the man's pain, feel a smidgen of sympathy swamped in a wave of regret for his victims.

Don't forget, also, he knows far more about the many ways Trump has hurt people than we do. He's spent at least the last few years in deep immersion into what they were doing and and more recently studying and planning how to make our nation whole again as the job lands on his shoulders.
